We are hiring two Social Workers for Rutland County Council's Adult Social Care Contact and Response Team.
- Full time Social Worker â 2 year fixed term contract working 37 hours per week.
- Part time Social Worker â maternity cover for 12 months working 26.25 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Undertake Care Act assessments and develop outcomeâfocused support plans.
- Provide information, advice and signposting to individuals, carers and professionals.
- Triage referrals and contribute to timely decisionâmaking within a busy frontâdoor service.
- Complete Mental Capacity Assessments, Best Interest decisions and Decision Support Tools.
- Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns, following Rutland safeguarding procedures.
- Facilitate the use of personal budgets and direct payments.
- Work collaboratively with health colleagues and other partner agencies.
- Maintain accurate and highâquality case recording in line with service standards.
About You
- Qualified to at least Level 2 and registered with Social Work England.
- Experienced and reflective.
- Confident working within a frontâdoor Adult Social Care Service.
- Able to make timely and proportionate decisions to support adults.
- Able to manage risk effectively.
Additional Requirements
The successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The cost for the DBS and Social Work England registration are paid by us. A full driving licence is required to enable travel across the county.
