Do you have a caring nature? Do you have experience of working in a driving role and/or with vulnerable young people? We are looking for drivers to work with students, their caregivers and school staff to ensure students travel to and from school safely.
We have two Term-Time only vacancies and one all-year-round vacancy.
About you …
- Holder of a current D1 driving licence
- Experience of driving a small commercial vehicle or minibus
- Experience of working with the public in a caring role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Committed to delivering a high level of customer service to clients and their families
- Experience of working with children and young people with SEN
About the Role….
As a driver you will be responsible for the following:
- Taking people to school and other locations in a calm safe manner
- Working as a team with a passenger assistant if appropriate
- Complying with all current road traffic legislation
- Able to check vehicles to ensure road worthiness
- Have a caring and patient manner
The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS will be paid for by us.
