Would you valuethe opportunity of working within Rutland’s Virtual School and across SEND Inclusion & Learning to support the administration duties of promoting the educational outcomes for children with a Social Worker and those with SEND? If so this could be the role for you…….

We are looking for an enthusiastic and aspirational Administrator to the Virtual School on a secondment or fixed term contract for three days a week to make an effective contribution.

About the role…

As the Administrator to the Virtual School and as part of the SEND, Inclusion & Learning Service, the role will:

  • contribute to the work of the Virtual School for administrative and related duties
  • support the administration of the wider SEND, Inclusion & Learning Service, with a key focus on supporting children with a social worker and identified vulnerable cohorts

The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.

Internal applicants should seek permission from their line manager before applying for this position as a secondment.

The Administrator to the Virtual School interviews will be held face to face at the council offices on 07 August 2025. Please be advised this could be subject to change, in which case we will give appropriate notice.
