Corporate Private Equity Solicitor | 2–6 PQE | London
We’re working with a leading international law firm looking to grow its Corporate Private Equity team in London.
This is a great opportunity to work on headline matters within a growing practice, with plenty of partner contact, client exposure and responsibility.
Candidate requirements:
- Approximately 2–6 years’ PQE in corporate law
- Strong private equity and private M&A experience
- Experience gained at a leading City, international or US law firm
- Confidence drafting and negotiating key transaction documents
- Experience managing deal workstreams and working directly with clients
- Strong technical ability, commercial judgement and attention to detail
- A collaborative and proactive approach
The role will involve:
- Leveraged buyouts, acquisitions and disposals
- Private M&A and cross-border transactions
- Minority and growth investments
- Co-investments, joint ventures and structured equity arrangements
- Management incentive plans
- Drafting and negotiating SPAs, shareholders’ agreements and other key transaction documents
- Coordinating international and multidisciplinary deal teams
