An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an instantly recognisable, international law firm with a significant London presence. It is seeking a Corporate Lawyer with at least 2 years' PQE to work with clients spanning private companies and sponsors. Candidates will be considered at Associate or Senior Associate Level.
The successful individual will be rewarded with an opportunity to gain exposure to a broad diet of corporate work often with an EMEA or US dimension, leveraging the firm's global reach. The environment is collaborative and flexible and has a 'lower than usual' chargeable hours target.
Examples of what the role will involve includes:
- Advice on strategic mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures
- Advising on buyouts, leveraged transactions, and growth investments for private equity sponsors and funds
- Ad hoc carve-outs, spin-offs, and public-to-private deals
- Advice on exit strategies including secondary transactions and sale of portfolio companies
The diverse client portfolio operates in a range of sectors and the firm has a particular track record and specific knowledge across TMT, financial services and healthcare. You will be allowed responsibility, supported and encouraged in your development.
Suitable candidates will be England & Wales or equivalent commonwealth qualified, possess strong academics and demonstrable experience in private M&A or PE transactions with a multi-jurisdictional dimension.
