Senior Legal Counsel (Greater London)

Our Client, a well-established venture capital business, is looking for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join their London based team. The mandate covers both the transactional side of the business' investments, and a broader, all encompassing commercial remit.

This is a strong opportunity to get into a hands-on transactional role that will support a well respected business investing in the technology driven companies of tomorrow.

The role will be ideal for a first time mover from Practice – or a practice trained and qualified in-house counsel who has a transactional background but is looking for a broader mandate.

Candidate profile:

• c. 5-9 PQE having trained and qualified in a recognised Legal 100 Corporate team
• Strong Academic track record
• Demonstrable track record in Seed Round to Series D transactions – as well as mid and large cap deals
• ESG or Impact investing experience would be desirable
• A developed interest in Financial Technology, Green Technology or other, disruptive technology verticals would be highly desirable
• Must have the right to work in England & Wales and be a qualified solicitor in good standing with the SRA
