Our Client, a global high frequency trading firm, is looking for an ambitious Employment Counsel to take on a global mandate as they build their In-House Employment Legal capabilities. Based in the firm's London HQ, the role covers a multi-jurisdictional contentious and non-contentious mandate and is a key part of the firm's continued growth plans. The firm operates a hybrid working policy with a good degree of flexibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Own a global employment mandate covering jurisdictions like the UK, EMEA, USA and APAC.
  • Create and implement the new Employment frameworks at the firm to reflect a changing regulatory environment in the UK and overseas.
  • Manage external counsel.
  • Oversee a proactive employee relations agenda.

Requirements:

  • c. 6-12 PQE with a strong track record in a ranked specialist Employment Practice.
  • Demonstrable experience working with Financial Services clients - secondments or permanent - In-House roles desirable.
  • Right to work in the UK.
