We are currently partnered with a global hedge fund that are looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to join its global compliance team on a 12 month contract. The ideal candidate will bring both regulatory expertise and technical fluency, particularly in SQL and Python, to enhance monitoring, reporting, and oversight frameworks across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a senior compliance generalist, supporting global compliance monitoring and advisory functions.
- Develop and automate compliance workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools using SQL and Python.
- Partner with investment, trading, legal, and operations teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across key jurisdictions.
- Maintain and enhance surveillance programs, trade monitoring systems, and reporting processes.
- Support regulatory filings and respond to regulatory requests in coordination with legal and compliance leadership.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in compliance within hedge funds, asset management, or investment banking.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, monitoring, and reporting.
