We are looking for a Commercial Lawyer (3+ PQE) with expertise in IT, technology, and outsourcing to join a top-ranked national team. This role involves advising on high-value, complex digital and commercial transactions, helping major UK and global clients drive innovation and operational transformation.
The Role
- Lead and support technology and outsourcing transactions, including IT and BPO outsourcing, SaaS/cloud contracts, and software licensing.
- Work directly with major UK banks, FTSE 100 companies, tech giants, fintechs, and global payment providers.
- Advise on large-scale digital transformation and sourcing projects.
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted adviser.
- Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to team development.
Requirements
- 3+ PQE in commercial and technology law.
- Strong experience in IT outsourcing, SaaS/cloud, or software licensing.
- Confident leading deals and managing client relationships.
- Strategic, commercially minded, and able to deliver on time-sensitive projects.
- Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, retail, aviation, or digital health.
- Understanding of regulatory and data protection issues affecting technology contracts.
