A leading global digital asset trading firm is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to join its Operations and Compliance team in London. The business operates at scale across crypto markets and institutional counterparties, combining advanced trading technology with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This role focuses on AML/KYC onboarding, ongoing due diligence and counterparty risk management across a diverse global client base.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end onboarding of institutional counterparties
- Conduct KYC/AML reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Complete ongoing due diligence and periodic KYC refreshes
- Carry out risk assessments and escalate financial crime concerns where appropriate
- Perform screening checks including sanctions, PEPs, adverse media and wallet analysis
- Monitor transaction alerts and assess potential AML/CTF risks
- Partner with trading, operations, and compliance teams to improve onboarding efficiency
