Job Description
Our client, a leading US law firm, is seeking a Finance Associate to join their London practice. The team is highly regarded for its borrower-side strength in the UK mid-market, while also advising banks, direct lenders, private credit funds, corporates and real estate investors on complex cross-border transactions. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to high-value financings across Europe and beyond, working closely with colleagues in the US and continental Europe.

Position Overview
As a Finance Associate, you will play a key role in providing technically sound advice and highly responsive service to clients on a wide range of finance matters. Working closely with colleagues, senior counsel, and partners, you will support client engagements while maintaining a strong record of revenue generation and profitability. Responsibilities
- Draft and review loan agreements, security documents and ancillary finance documentation under supervision
- Assist with due diligence, conditions precedent checklists and transaction management across cross-border financings
- Liaise with clients, counterparties and other advisors to coordinate deal execution and closing processes
- Conduct legal research and prepare internal memoranda on banking and finance matters
- Support senior lawyers on leveraged, real estate and structured finance transactions, working on both borrower and lender mandates
