An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Structured Finance Solicitor to join a highly regarded international finance practice in London. This market-leading team advises across the full spectrum of structured finance, securitisation and debt capital markets transactions, acting for arrangers, issuers, sponsors, investors, lenders and other key stakeholders on complex domestic and cross-border matters. The practice is recognised for handling sophisticated, high-value transactions across multiple asset classes and jurisdictions.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of matters, including:
- Asset-backed securitisations (ABS), RMBS, CMBS and CLO transactions
- Trade receivables, consumer loan and whole-business securitisations
- Structured note programmes and bespoke structured products
- Debt capital markets transactions, including bonds, notes and MTN programmes
- Cross-border financing and multi-jurisdictional structuring matters
- Derivatives, hedging arrangements and risk management structures
- Distressed and special situations transactions, restructurings and workouts
- Liability management, refinancing and portfolio acquisition transactions
- Regulatory, tax and capital structure advisory work
Candidate Requirements:
- 1–6 years’ PQE gained within a leading structured finance, securitisation, DCM or finance practice
- Strong technical drafting and analytical skills
- Experience advising on complex financing transactions
- Interest in cross-border and international work
- Commercial awareness and strong client relationship skills
- Ambitious, collaborative and proactive approach
