Qualified Corporate Solicitor (M&A and PE) | NQ - 3PQE in London

Rutherford is partnered with a leading US law firm in London renowned for its strength across M&A and private equity transactions. The firm is seeking a Corporate Solicitor to join its London office, advising on complex, high-value, and often cross-border transactions.

What you’ll be working on:

• Complex cross-border M&A and leveraged buyouts
• Minority and structured-equity investments
• Distressed and special-situations transactions
• GP-led secondaries, continuation funds, and asset-management deals
• Corporate restructurings, equity and debt recapitalisations
• Portfolio-company matters, including management incentive plans and governance

The team operates across multiple sectors including technology, healthcare, financial services, consumer, telecoms, media, and insurance, on European and global transactions. You’ll gain exposure to sophisticated private-capital clients and multi-jurisdictional dealmaking from day one.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (NQ to 3 PQE)
• Strong academic and professional record, ideally within an international or top-tier UK practice.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to translate complex legal frameworks into practical business advice
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Team-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
