A highly regarded City law firm is seeking an Immigration Associate (2–5 PQE) to join its top-ranked and growing immigration practice in London. The immigration team advises a broad client base including:

  • Sponsor licence applications, management and compliance
  • Home Office audits and investigations
  • Skilled Worker and Global Business Mobility routes

The Role

The successful associate will be involved in:

  • Advising corporate clients on sponsor licences, compliance and visa applications
  • Supporting HNW individuals and families on personal immigration matters
  • Advising offshore and energy sector clients on sponsorship and crew mobility
  • Managing matters independently and acting as a key client contact
  • Supervising and reviewing paralegal work
  • Liaising with the Home Office and other stakeholders
  • Drafting applications, legal submissions and supporting documentation
  • Supporting business development and client-facing initiatives
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues across Private Wealth, Employment and Offshore-focused teams

Candidate Profile

You will ideally have:

  • 2–5 years’ PQE in UK immigration law
  • Experience gained at a firm with a strong, well-regarded immigration practice
  • Exposure to both corporate and high-net-worth individual clients
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK business and personal immigration routes
  • Excellent drafting, organisational and communication skills
  • A commercial, practical and client-focused mindset
  • The confidence to manage matters independently while working collaboratively
