I’m working with a well-established investment funds practice looking to grow its Hedge Funds team in London. This role is particularly well suited to hedge funds lawyers with strong formation experience, alongside exposure to the ongoing operation and evolution of hedge fund structures. The team advises a broad client base ranging from emerging managers to established global platforms.
The role involves:
- Structuring and launching hedge funds and related vehicles
- Ongoing fund advisory work, including amendments, restructurings and investor matters
- Drafting and negotiating fund documentation, including fund constitutive documents and investment management arrangements
- Working closely with internal specialists on regulatory, operational and strategic issues
More senior associates will have the opportunity to take on greater ownership of matters, develop client relationships and support the development of junior team members.
About you:
- Qualified solicitor with 1–10 years’ PQE
- Experience in hedge fund formation and/or hedge fund advisory work
- Exposure to offshore and cross-border fund structures would be beneficial (Ireland/Luxembourg/offshore)
- Background at a City, international or funds-focused firm, or within a strong in‑house environment
- Commercial, technically strong and motivated to deepen expertise in the hedge funds space
