This market-leading team advises on complex, high-value contentious construction matters across the UK and internationally, acting on some of the most significant infrastructure, energy, real estate, and engineering projects.
Key areas of work include:
- Construction litigation in the Technology and Construction Court (TCC)
- Arbitrations, adjudications, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution
- High-value disputes involving delay, disruption, defective works, and professional negligence
- Strategic dispute avoidance and risk management advice throughout the project lifecycle
- Acting as a key client contact and managing discrete workstreams on major matters
- Collaborating with construction, real estate, and wider disputes teams across the firm
- Supporting business development initiatives and mentoring junior lawyers
Candidate requirements:
- 3–6 years’ PQE in construction disputes gained at a leading UK law firm
- Experience handling contentious construction matters, including litigation, arbitration, or adjudication
- Experience in PFI and/or fire safety matters would be highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of standard form construction contracts, including NEC and/or FIDIC
- Excellent technical, analytical, and commercial skills
- Strong client relationship and communication abilities
