Our Client, a well-established boutique Investment Bank, is looking to hire an experienced corporate counsel to provide direct support to the Head of Legal as they experience a significant increase in transactional work. The mandate will see the right individual provide direct support to the firm's M&A Advisory team. This is a strong opportunity to get into a hands-on transactional role that will support a well-respected business advising clients investing in the technology-driven companies of tomorrow.
The role will be ideal for an experienced Transactional Lawyer coming from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 investment bank - or their equivalent from Private Practice. NB: The role is a temporary 3-4 month contract - the client may consider making the role permanent for the right candidate at that point. Candidates with notice periods of more than 2 weeks will not be considered.
Candidate profile:
- c. 5-12 PQE corporate counsel - trained and qualified in a leading sell-side or practice environment
- Strong Academic track record
- Strong understanding of corporate transactions and strategic projects
- Strong drafting and commercial agreements expertise - including IB engagement letters and NDAs
- Must have the right to work in England & Wales and be a qualified solicitor in good standing with the SRA
- Must be able to start immediately
