Rutherford is working with top-tier international law firms in London seeking talented Infrastructure Finance Associates (NQ–5 PQE) to join their market-leading teams. These practices advise on some of the most complex, high-profile, and cross-border financings in the European and UK markets. You’ll join an elite platform with teams recognised for their deep understanding of underlying infrastructure and energy assets, their ability to anticipate challenges, and their track record of executing transactions efficiently and under tight timelines. These teams are highly active in the market and have extensive experience advising across all debt products, from loan financings to multi-creditor platforms, both publicly rated and unrated.
Key responsibilities
- Work on a range of infrastructure and energy financing transactions, including senior debt, MidCo financings, platform financings, complex IPP financings, and equity bridge loans.
- Advise across the capital structure on acquisition financings, long-term refinancing solutions, whole-business securitisations, holdco financings, minority financings, and multi-creditor structures.
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating financing documentation in complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions.
- Work closely with partners and senior lawyers to deliver seamless execution on cross-border mandates.
- Manage transaction workstreams, coordinate with stakeholders, and contribute to the smooth running and closing of deals.
- Develop strong client relationships and deliver commercially astute, solutions-oriented advice.
