Our Client, a global multi-strategy hedge fund, is looking for an ambitious, experienced employment counsel to take on the mandate of building Employment Legal across the firm's multinational footprint. Headquartered in London, the firm has offices across EMEA, North America and APAC. This is a high growth environment that would be an excellent opportunity for a tech-savvy Employment counsel with a strong blend of contentious and non-contentious expertise.
Role
- Own global employment mandate and work with CPO, CHRO and General Counsel to build a robust and resilient global employment legal framework
- Support peer stakeholders to build a best-in-class Employee Relations capability
- Support the General Counsel and other stakeholders with new market entry and potential M&A activities
- Be the go-to subject matter expert for strategic employment issues – both contentious and non-contentious
Requirements
- c. 6-15 PQE – strong practice track record in a ranked employment team
- Good in-house exposure or experience – secondments or permanent roles
- Strong track record supporting Tier 1 Financial Services and Technology clients
- Strong understanding of UK and US employment legal regulations – other jurisdictions desirable
- A strong interest in implementing legal technology and AI-driven solutions
