Role Overview
Our elite US law firm client’s market-leading finance team is seeking an ambitious associate to join a practice recognised for its sophisticated cross-border financing work. This team advises a diverse range of global financial institutions and investment funds, offering an excellent opportunity to work alongside a Partner known for innovative fund finance and structured lending solutions.
Practice & Clients
The group operates at the forefront of fund finance, advising on complex structures such as capital call facilities, NAV and hybrid facilities, GP support arrangements, and tailored leverage solutions for fund-of-fund and hedge fund clients. Their client base spans major banks, fund managers, and private capital investors active across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. The team also counsels institutions and funds on the acquisition and disposal of syndicated loans, debt portfolios, and other distressed credit instruments.
Responsibilities
- Support on cross-border financings across fund finance, leveraged finance, and structured lending transactions.
- Draft and negotiate facility agreements, security packages, and related documentation.
- Advise on the transfer and trading of loans, bonds, and distressed debt assets.
- Liaise with counterparties, clients, and internal teams to manage deal execution.
- Contribute to business development and client relationship initiatives within the practice.
