A leading US law firm is seeking an ESG Finance Associate to join its growing London office. The firm offers a full New York/Cravath salary and a chance to work on some of the most high-profile ESG-related matters in the market. With a large and well-established London presence, the firm operates at a high level across its core practices and offers early responsibility to strong performers in a high-performing, career-focused environment.
This newly created role reflects growing client demand in the ESG and sustainability space. You will work closely with partners on transactions and advisory matters involving sustainability-linked finance, green bonds, and ESG-focused investment structures. Clients include private equity firms, corporates, sponsors, and lenders navigating the evolving landscape of ESG-related risks, regulatory frameworks, investor expectations, and disclosure obligations.
Requirements:
- 2+ PQE with demonstrable ESG finance experience, including sustainability-linked lending, green bonds, or ESG-focused investment structures
- Proven experience advising private equity firms, corporates, sponsors, and lenders on ESG and climate-related legal and strategic issues
