I'm working with a high-quality funds practice looking to add junior to mid-level associates into its Private Funds and Secondaries team. This is a strong opportunity for a funds lawyer who wants:

  • exposure to a broad mix of private equity, credit and secondary fund work
  • a hands-on role working closely with partners
  • a platform that supports long-term development rather than a narrow silo

The Role

You’ll advise fund sponsors and institutional investors on:

  • the formation and structuring of private funds
  • GP-led and LP-led secondaries
  • co-investment and continuation vehicle matters
  • drafting and negotiating core fund documentation, including partnership agreements, investment management arrangements and side letters
  • ongoing fund operations and investor negotiations

You’ll also gain exposure to cross-border and offshore fund structures, working alongside colleagues in related finance, tax and transactional teams. The work is high quality but sustainable, with genuine responsibility from an early stage.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in private funds and/or secondaries
  • England & Wales qualified lawyer with 1-6 years of post-qualified experience (Will also consider strong Irish funds lawyers)
  • Trained at a City, international or strong regional firm
  • Technically confident, commercially minded and keen to progress
