A market leading pensions team at a well known Magic Circle firm is looking to hire a high-calibre Pensions Associate (1–4 PQE) to join its London practice. This is an opportunity to join a top-tier team advising on some of the most high-profile, complex and technically challenging pensions matters in the UK market, working with trustees, corporates and sponsors across schemes of all sizes, from mid-market to multi-billion-pound arrangements.

The Role

  • You will work across a broad and balanced pensions practice, including advisory, transactional and contentious matters.
  • The team is particularly strong in:
  • Strategic advisory work on highly technical pensions issues (including equalisation, funding and scheme design)
  • De-risking transactions, including large-scale buy-ins and buy-outs
  • Pensions aspects of corporate transactions, working closely with leading M&A teams
  • Dispute resolution, including regulatory investigations and High Court proceedings
  • You will have the opportunity to take ownership of matters, work directly with clients and play a key role in coordinating across practice areas on complex, multi-disciplinary transactions.
