Our client, a leading global hedge fund, is seeking a senior Employment Lawyer to act as Lead Employment Counsel during a pivotal period of transformation. The role will lead employment legal strategy across EMEA, US and APAC, partnering closely with senior management and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Trusted employment counsel to portfolio managers, traders and senior leadership across a global investment platform
- Architect and negotiate bespoke arrangements for portfolio managers and senior hires, including complex remuneration, garden leave and restrictive covenant structures
- Manage investigations, disputes, and employment litigation
- Oversee external counsel and mitigate employment risk across jurisdictions (EMEA, US & APAC)
Requirements
- 2 - 6+ PQE, ideally E&W qualified
- Private practice or in-house financial services experience preferred
