My client is a growing US law firm known to offer a manageable work-life balance, a collaborative environment and progression prospects. A fabulous opportunity has arisen for a commercial lawyer to join at Senior Associate Level; with at least 4 years' PQE. The role is to advise on a plethora of commercial contracts, incorporating IP and IT related agreements for its impressive sports and media client portfolio. Examples of which will include:
- Distribution agreements
- Sponsorship agreements
- Licensing agreements
- Technology agreements
- Brand related contracts
- Media and sponsorship deals
The role would suit an ambitious individual who has previously worked in a ranked private practice environment with a similar client portfolio and is currently either in house or remains within practice. A willingness and ability to work across global offices and an enthusiasm to support and develop juniors is important. The ability to interface with clients and provide technically strong, commercially viable advice, is essential. A passion for the work is important but is not sufficient in itself to be considered for the role - relevant drafting and negotiation of the aforementioned contracts is absolutely essential.
