The team is recognised for advising on sophisticated, high-value disputes involving private capital, often with a cross-border dimension.

The disputes group sits within a broader private wealth offering and works closely with non-contentious colleagues as well as other complementary practice areas across the firm. It has a strong reputation in leading legal directories and is known for advising ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices and trustees on complex disputes. Work is often international in nature, with a notable focus on matters involving multiple jurisdictions, including a strong flow of instructions connected to Asia, as well as longstanding relationships with prominent domestic families. The team also has experience handling disputes involving tax-related issues across borders.
The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of contentious private wealth matters, with responsibilities including:
- Taking ownership of key elements of cases, with appropriate supervision
- Contributing to legal analysis and overall dispute strategy
- Drafting clear and precise legal documents and client advice
- Reviewing and assessing evidential material and preparing for hearings and trial
Candidate Profile:
- England & Wales qualified solicitor
- 2 to 5 years’ post-qualification experience in disputes, ideally with exposure to private wealth or trusts litigation
