I’m working with a leading international capital markets practice looking to add a UK-qualified associate to its Equity Capital Markets team in London. This role would suit an ECM lawyer with experience on UK-listed equity transactions who is keen to work on high-profile, complex offerings with an international dimension.
The role involves a broad range of UK equity capital markets matters, including:
- IPOs, listings and secondary equity offerings
- Advising issuers, banks and investors on UK-listed transactions
- Working closely with regulators and exchanges in connection with equity offerings
- Supporting transactions with international and cross-border elements
The team operates on a fully integrated basis, meaning you’ll gain exposure not only to UK and European ECM work, but also to transactions with a US or global angle, and have the opportunity to broaden into adjacent capital markets areas over time.
About you:
- UK-qualified solicitor with 1–5 years’ PQE
- Experience in UK Equity Capital Markets
- Familiarity with the regulatory framework governing UK-listed equity transactions
- Background at a City, international or strong capital markets-focused firm
- Technically strong, detail-oriented and comfortable working on fast-paced transactions
