An exciting opportunity has arisen for a junior solicitor to join a leading international law firm’s highly regarded aviation disputes team in London. This team is at the forefront of complex, high-value, and often high-profile aviation litigation, working across multiple jurisdictions and advising major insurers, airlines, and industry stakeholders.
Key areas of work include:
- Multi-jurisdictional aviation litigation arising from major accidents and incidents
- Insurance and reinsurance coverage disputes involving aircraft losses and liability claims
- Product liability disputes involving manufacturers, component suppliers, and lessors
- Claims involving airlines, operators, and service providers, including passenger and third-party liability
- Crisis response and coordination of large-scale claims following aviation disasters
- Recovery actions and subrogation claims between insurers, operators, and other aviation stakeholders
Candidate requirements:
- 1–3 years’ PQE with a strong foundation in disputes/litigation
- Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or aviation disputes is advantageous
- Strong academic background and excellent analytical skills
- Ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional matters
- Commercial awareness and interest in the aviation sector
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative, international team
