Key Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified solicitor under E&W or Common Law with UK market experience
- 5‑7 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in private equity at a leading international or City firm
- Excellent academic record and rigorous legal training
- Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
- Interest in sponsor‑side private‑equity transactions and multi‑jurisdictional matters
- Effective communicator with client contact experience
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Advise on leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures for private‑equity sponsors and portfolio companies
- Manage full transaction lifecycle – structuring, due diligence, drafting, negotiation
- Support cross‑border financings, carve‑outs and take‑private deals, coordinating with specialists across jurisdictions
- Collaborate closely with clients’ deal teams, providing commercially focused, strategic advice
- Contribute to business development initiatives and client relationship management
