A major international law firm is looking to hire a junior Projects & Energy Associate (1–3 PQE) to join its well-established and expanding Energy & Infrastructure group.

The team has a strong track record advising on major domestic and international energy and infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on renewables, energy-from-waste, district heating, hydrogen, grid infrastructure, and wider energy transition initiatives. The practice works with public bodies, utilities, developers, and international investors across all stages of the project lifecycle.

The Role:

• Advising on high-value energy and infrastructure projects, including project development, regulatory frameworks, procurement processes, and commercial contracting (including PPAs and EPC/O&M agreements).
• Supporting on public-private joint ventures and strategic infrastructure initiatives.
• Working in cross-practice teams with experts in real estate, finance, construction, and environment.

Candidate Requirements:

• 1–3 PQE with experience in projects, energy, infrastructure, or commercial contracts from a recognised practice.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work effectively with both public and private sector clients.
• A genuine interest in the energy transition and the evolving landscape of clean energy and infrastructure development.
• Excellent drafting skills, client service mindset, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
