We are working with a leading international law firm with a top‑tier structured finance and securitisation practice to hire a 2–6 PQE Structured Finance Lawyer. This firm is known for its global platform, deep client relationships, and market‑leading work across complex, cross‑border transactions, acting for arrangers, issuers, investors, and financial institutions on some of the most sophisticated deals in the market.

The Role

You will be involved in a broad mix of high‑value structured finance and capital markets work, including:

  • Structuring and executing securitisation and structured finance transactions
  • Advising on debt capital markets instruments (bonds, MTNs, commercial paper)
  • Designing complex, multi‑jurisdictional financing structures
  • Supporting transactions end‑to‑end, from origination through to post‑closing

Key Areas of Work

  • Asset‑backed securitisations (ABS), RMBS, CMBS CLOs/CDOs and whole‑business securitisations
  • Trade receivables, consumer loans, and NPL portfolio transactions
  • Structured note programmes and bespoke structured products
  • High‑yield, convertible and exchangeable bonds
  • Islamic finance / sukuk and alternative debt instruments
  • Derivatives, hedging, repo and securities lending arrangements

Client Exposure

  • Arrangers, dealers, and underwriters
  • Issuers, originators, and sponsors
  • Investors and lenders
  • Trustees, servicers, and rating agencies

Additional Exposure

  • Cross‑border and emerging markets transactions
  • Distressed and restructuring scenarios within structured finance
  • Regulatory, tax, and capital structure advisory

Candidate Requirements

  • 2–6 years’ PQE with strong experience in structured finance, securitisation, or debt capital markets
  • Experience gained at a leading international or top‑tier firm
  • Solid technical grounding across securitisation structures and capital markets instruments
  • Exposure to cross‑border transactions and complex financing structures
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to engage confidently with clients
  • A proactive, team‑oriented approach with strong attention to detail
