Our client, an elite US Law Firm, seeks an experienced Lawyer to join their highly ranked and expert practice.
The Role
- Manage relationships with fund investors, addressing investor inquiries, concerns, and requests, and providing counsel on matters related to fund operations.
- Develop and deliver a business plan for the growth of the UK Fund practice.
- Have management responsibility.
- Lead in structuring, forming, and documenting private equity funds, including drafting and negotiating fund documents, partnership agreements, and subscription agreements.
- Ensure that private equity funds comply with all relevant laws and regulations, and stay up to date with evolving legal requirements affecting the industry.
- Engage with existing clients of the firm to ensure they are fully supported.
Requirements
- Extensive fund formation experience from a leading law firm.
- Experience managing Lawyers, Paralegal resources etc.
- Able to handle a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Strong communication and relationship building ability.
- Have experience of managing a profitable fund practice.
- Track record of winning instructions from targets.
- Confident presenting/pitching.
