Our Client A prominent international law firm seeks an experienced Private Funds lawyer to play a crucial role in their highly regarded Investment funds practice based in London. Position Overview You will be an integral part of the firm's private funds practice, working closely with a diverse and inclusive team of legal professionals to provide exceptional service to an impressive client base in the asset management and financial institutions sectors. This role offers the opportunity to further develop your expertise in private fund formation and investment work while contributing to the firm's and its clients' ongoing success.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on the formation and structuring of private investment funds across various asset classes
- Draft and negotiate key fund documentation, including limited partnership agreements and private placement memoranda
- Assist with the due diligence process for fund investments and guide on regulatory compliance matters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive and innovative legal solutions to clients
- Contribute to the development and mentoring of junior team members
- Actively participate in business development and client relationship management initiatives
Requirements
- English Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years' post‑qualification experience gained at a leading City practice
- Strong technical skills and experience in private fund formation and investment work

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
