A highly regarded, 'ranked' elite US law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its growing Private Capital / Strategic Transactions team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a sophisticated practice advising leading financial sponsors, investment firms, institutional capital providers and portfolio businesses on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. The team is experiencing sustained growth and continues to invest heavily in expanding its private capital offering.
This role has a secondaries focus on GP transactions, though there will be additional exposure to LP work too. The successful candidate will work across a broad mix of matters, including:
- Sponsor-led liquidity transactions
- Secondary market investment deals
- Strategic acquisitions and disposals
- Minority and structured equity investments
- Joint ventures and reorganisations
- Recapitalisations and corporate advisory work
- Ongoing portfolio company support
- PE M+A
The role offers exposure to premium transactions spanning multiple jurisdictions and sectors, with a strong emphasis on commercial, high-value deal work.
