We are working with a leading international law firm to recruit a Sanctions Disputes Solicitor (3–6 PQE) into its highly regarded disputes and regulatory team in London. This is a standout opportunity to join a specialist, globally integrated team advising on complex and fast‑evolving sanctions regimes across the UK, EU and US, with particular strength in sectors such as shipping, commodities and financial services.

The Role

  • Advising on the impact of UK, EU and US sanctions regimes on client operations and transactions
  • Supporting compliance frameworks, risk management and internal controls
  • Conducting sanctions due diligence in cross-border deals and financing arrangements
  • Handling investigations, voluntary disclosures and enforcement actions (including regulatory bodies such as OFAC)
  • Advising on disputes, litigation and arbitration where sanctions impact contracts, payments or asset freezes
  • Working closely with trade and customs authorities on audits and proceedings

You will join a collaborative and commercially focused team, working closely with disputes, regulatory and international trade specialists, and advising a high-profile client base across global markets.

About You

  • 3–6 PQE with experience in sanctions, disputes, regulatory or international trade law
