A respected London-based law firm is seeking an Associate Solicitor to join its 'ranked' non-contentious construction practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team with a strong flow of premium transactional work and a loyal client base across the property and investment markets.

The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of construction and development matters, working alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers on complex, high-value projects from inception through to completion. The practice supports clients through the full lifecycle of developments, including structuring, procurement, delivery, leasing, refinancing and disposal.

Typical Work Includes:

  • Drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke building contracts
  • Professional appointments, warranties and third-party rights
  • Development agreements and procurement strategies
  • Construction support on acquisitions, disposals and finance transactions
  • Risk management advice relating to delay, defects and completion issues
  • Asset management, refurbishment and redevelopment projects
  • Coordinating with consultants, surveyors and technical stakeholders

The team acts for a broad range of sophisticated clients including developers and investors, family offices and private capital, funds as well as contractors and consultants. This role offers hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office and the firm has received much acclaim for its sustainable work life balance, mentoring and its office culture.
