As a Competition Associate, you will play a key role in handling a wide range of matters involving UK, EU and international antitrust, cartel and merger control laws. Working alongside a team of experts across their European offices, you will have the chance to take on meaningful responsibility, conduct your own advocacy where possible and gain valuable exposure to high-profile, cross-border work.
Responsibilities
- Support complex merger control and FDI filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Assist with cartel, abuse of dominance and behavioural investigations
- Provide strategic antitrust advice to leading financial institutions and multinational corporates
- Contribute to competition litigation, including regulatory challenges and appeals
- Work closely with clients and regulators, maintaining strong professional relationships
- Plan, prioritise and delegate work tasks, updating supervising partners on progress
- Build strong client relationships through excellent service and communication
Requirements
- 2-6 PQE in a strong UK or European Competition practice
- Excellent academic record with at least a 2:1 degree (or equivalent)
- Strong technical competition law experience across merger control, cartel and advisory work
- Experience working on complex, cross-border matters
