A prominent US law firm is seeking a highly motivated Capital Markets Associate with 1-3 years\’ PQE to join their thriving London-based team. Position Overview
As a Capital Markets Associate, you will play a key role in the firm\’s expanding Capital Markets practice, working closely with partners and colleagues on a diverse range of equity and debt transactions. You will advise private equity sponsors, corporates, and financial institutions on complex, cross-border matters, contributing to the team\’s success and the firm\’s reputation as a leader in the U.S./UK capital markets space.
Responsibilities

Collaborate with partners and colleagues on a wide range of equity and debt capital markets transactions

Provide legal advice and support on cross-border transactions for private equity sponsors, corporates, and financial institutions

Draft and negotiate transaction documents with a focus on accuracy and detail

Assist in the preparation of offering documents, including prospectuses and other regulatory filings

Conduct legal research and provide insights on U.S./UK capital markets regulations

Participate in client meetings and negotiations to advise on legal matters
Requirements

While a JD from a U.S. law school is preferred, UK/EU-qualified candidates who have experience in U.S. capital markets will also be considered

1-3 years\’ post-qualification experience in capital markets transactions

Strong drafting skills, commercial awareness, and attention to detail

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with high-performing teams
