Interim Finance Manager (4-6 Months) Location: Uddingston (On-Site) Duration: 4-6 Months Rutherford Cross is delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing business in the Lanarkshire area to appoint an Interim Finance Manager for an initial 4-6 month assignment. This role will play a key part in supporting the finance function through a busy year-end and audit period, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and effective stakeholder management across the business. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function Support the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end reporting Act as the key finance contact throughout the external audit process Review and strengthen balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls. Assist with technical accounting matters and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards Support the production of monthly management accounts and board reporting Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insight and challenge where required Mentor and support members of the finance team Candidate Profile Fully qualified CA Strong technical accounting background Demonstrable experience supporting businesses through year-end and external audit processes Proven ability to operate effectively in an interim capacity and quickly establish credibility Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across the organisation For more information, please contact Euan Bodie at Rutherford Cross
