Overview: Our client is looking for an experienced Purchase to Pay Project Lead to shape and improve their global organisation’s end to end P2P processes as part of a major finance transformation programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the review, design and implementation of streamlined Purchase to Pay processes to strengthen efficiency, control and standardisation across the business.
- Working closely with Procurement, Finance and operational teams to ensure processes align with business needs and support accounts payable activity.
- Supporting the rollout of a new ERP system, acting as the P2P subject matter expert and ensuring consistent adoption of processes and controls across all sites.
- Mapping current state activities and completing cost and workload analysis to identify improvement opportunities and inform future design decisions.
- Developing clear workstream plans, setting priorities and ensuring initiatives are delivered to time, scope and quality.
- Highlighting risks, dependencies and issues within the P2P landscape and ensuring these are appropriately managed or escalated.
- Contributing to the creation of a long term transformation roadmap, including resource planning and capability requirements.
- Establishing standardised KPIs and reporting measures to improve visibility, compliance and performance across P2P operations.
- Driving continuous improvement activity, identifying opportunities to simplify processes, enhance controls and optimise supplier payment practices.
- Supporting change management activity, ensuring stakeholders are informed, engaged and equipped to embed new ways of working.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in Purchase to Pay, accounts payable or wider finance process transformation, ideally gained within a large, complex organisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence navigating ERP related change.
- Experience of leading standardisation or process redesign projects.
