Overview: Rutherford Cross is delighted to be supporting a purpose‑led, non‑profit organisation in the Central Belt to appoint an Interim Management Accountant to provide critical support during a period of change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver day‑to‑day financial operations, including ledgers, invoice processing, reconciliations and cashflow management, ensuring strong financial control
  • Prepare management accounts and variance analysis, supporting leadership with clear, accurate financial insight and reporting
  • Support the finance function through a systems transition and ongoing process improvement, maintaining compliance and audit readiness
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting, supporting the development and monitoring of financial plans

The Ideal Candidate

  • Part‑Qualified or Qualified by Experience
  • Available at short notice
  • Good Excel skills with working knowledge of accounting software
  • Comfortable in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment
