Management Accountant (Contract) job with our Renfrewshire based client for an 18-month period. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing sales and gross margin reports and analysis providing insights to the business
- Producing monthly management and annual accounts and liaison with external auditors
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting the annual budget setting for the business with a focus on sales, cost of sales, gross margin and stock
- Analysing and reporting on stock holding and stock forecast
- Reviewing and confirming product costing
- Developing and maintaining Crystal Reports
- Preparing journal entries
To apply, you will be a qualified or ‘qualified by experience’ Accountant who is an advanced user of Excel or Crystal Reporting. You will be comfortable working with high volumes of data and will also have advanced variance analysis skills. You will also have the ability to support multiple projects from a financial perspective. This business works a hybrid model of 3 days per week on site. Salary: up to £60,000 p.a. depending on experience.
