Rutherford Cross is currently supporting a well-known UK organisation looking to appoint a forward-thinking FP&A Manager to strengthen its commercial finance capability. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys shaping insight, improving reporting, and working closely with senior stakeholders.
Contributing to the leadership of the Financial Planning & Analysis team by working closely with senior stakeholders to increase the company’s efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of both the medium and long-term financial budgets and measuring performance (both financial and non-financial) against these targets.
The Opportunity:
- In this role, you'll take ownership of weekly and daily commercial reporting, ensuring financial results and KPIs are delivered with accuracy, clarity and genuine commercial insight.
- You’ll support month end analysis, help explain performance drivers, and work directly with operational leaders across regions.
- A key part of the role involves challenging and controlling costs, identifying savings, and ensuring budgets and re-forecasts are produced with quality and precision.
- You’ll also play a central role in developing and enhancing reporting processes, and driving continuous improvement across the finance function.
Key Requirements:
- A qualified accountant (or equivalent experience) with solid FP&A grounding.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis of management information as may be required.
- Train and mentor team members.
- Budgets are produced accurately, timely and detailed enough in order to drive annual review process.
- Someone proactive, organised and comfortable working to tight deadlines.
- A confident communicator who can build strong relationships across multiple departments.
