Job Description Position: Interim Finance Officer (Finance Business Partnering) Duration: 6-9 months Location: Glasgow Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 p.a. Start: 1-4 weeks’ notice Rutherford Cross is delighted to be supporting a large and well-established organisation in Glasgow with the appointment of a Finance Officer on a 6-9-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for: Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reports, forecasts, and budgets Assist with annual business planning and year-end accounting processes Maintain financial ledgers, including journal processing and income/expenditure allocations Undertake balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies Provide financial analysis, variance reporting, and performance information to budget holders Support operational management teams by providing financial insight and guidance Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective financial management Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes, controls, and reporting The Ideal Candidate: Part Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant Good Excel skills and experience using financial ledger systems Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across the business Ability to manage competing priorities and work to strict deadlines What's on Offer: Salary up to £42,000 p.a.
