Position: Interim Finance Manager

Location: Glasgow

Duration: Initial 2-month contract

Hours: 35 hours per week, although part-time will be considered

Rutherford Cross is pleased to be working with a Glasgow-headquartered organisation to appoint an Interim Finance Manager for an initial 2-month assignment with potential to extend.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial processing
- Manage the monthly payroll process, including pension administration and liaison with HR
- Review and approve employee expenses and supplier payments
- Support invoicing, income collection and credit control activities
- Produce management information and financial reports as required
- Assist with month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors where required
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and support to finance team members and wider stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help maintain effective financial controls
