Job Description

Interim Finance Manager job with our Edinburgh public sector client based for an initial 6-month period. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts including variance reports and forecasts
  • Production of annual financial plans for the department
  • Attend meetings with senior budget holders ensuring accurate reporting of forecast spend
  • Accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
  • Supporting the annual year end for the department for inclusion in the annual report
  • Ensure financial plans for the department are aligned to the corporate strategy
  • Accurate reporting of forecasts and spend for major projects within the department
  • Train and support non-finance colleagues with required financial skills

To apply, you will be a fully qualified and experienced accountant with a broad skillset in both financial reporting and finance business partnering.

Salary: up to £55,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent.
