Interim Finance Assistant job with a Glasgow based organisation for an initial 3-6-month period.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Processing, recording and reconciliation of financial transactions
- Assisting with supplier and contractor payments, including verifying creditor statements
- Supporting the preparation of financial reports and providing up-to-date financial information to colleagues and external parties
- Supporting with day-to-day bank accounting process, including assisting with the bank account reconciliation process and clearing suspense accounts
The ideal candidate:
- Immediately available
- Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role
- Working knowledge of accounting software and Excel
On offer:
- Initial 3-month contract with potential to extend to 6 months
- Salary up to £25,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent
