The Role:
RFB Containers is recruiting an Assistant Finance Manager to support the Finance Manager and strengthen the finance function in a growing, operationally focused SME. This is a hands-on role with exposure to management accounts, reporting and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly management accounts and group reporting
- Financial reporting, analysis, and KPI monitoring
- Support budgeting, forecasting and process improvement
- Month-end journals, fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations
- Purchase and sales ledger management, including payment runs and cash allocation
- Bank reconciliations across multiple entities
- VAT return preparation and audit support
- Maintain accurate records using Xero and Syrinx 365 ERP
Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience within a commercial finance function
- SME or private sector background
- Experience managing suppliers and payment processes
- Proven financial modelling and reporting skills
- ERP system experience
- Proactive, detail focused and commercially minded
