Location: Greenock (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) Contract Length: 2-3 Months Our client, a growing facilities management business based in Greenock, is seeking an experienced Interim Project Accountant to support the finance function during a busy period. This is a hands-on role with a dual focus on the production of monthly management accounts and short-term cashflow planning. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts, including: Profit & Loss reporting Balance Sheet reconciliations Cashflow reporting Deliver accurate and timely financial analysis to support business decision-making Manage and maintain short-term cashflow forecasts Work with invoice financing facilities and ensure effective cash management Analyse financial data and provide insights using advanced Excel modelling and reporting Candidate Requirements Qualified or qualified by experience accountant Proven experience producing full management accounts Strong understanding of Balance Sheet and Cashflow management Experience with short-term cashflow forecasting and invoice financing Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and present financial information effectively Experience using Sage 50 would be highly advantageous Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment If you have any questions regarding this post, please contact Euan Bodie at Rutherford Cross.
