Job will run from June until the end of December 2026. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Day to day leading and managing of the finance and procurement team of circa 15 team members
  • Overseeing the preparation of the monthly management accounts and reporting them to senior management on a monthly basis and also to the Board and Finance Committee
  • Producing annual statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
  • Annual budget setting and monthly budgetary monitoring with variance analysis
  • Refining the annual budget plan ensuring alignment with the 5-year corporate plan
  • Leading on the procurement and implementation of a new system

To apply you will be a fully qualified accountant with excellent people leadership and stakeholder management skills. You will also be experienced in working closely with high performing Boards. You will have either a public sector background or have worked as an interim Finance Director or Head of Finance previously in industry. This role can be worked either 5 or 4 days per week. Salary: £90,000 - £95,000 p.a. plus benefits.
